I find myself with less and less time as the days go by. Updating this as frequently as I should is very difficult. I apologize.

Thanks to an anonymous renovation to my kitchen, I've been able to cook food a lot faster, and with Momoshiro-kun and Shinji helping with that, I think our efficiency in the deli has improved a lot. It's nice. It means I can do more with my time, such as make more food for the soup-kitchens and spend more time coming up with recipes for the Youtube cooking show. It's a pleasant way to spend my time, thinking of new ideas for dishes and ways of cooking things. It involves a lot of cooking with foreign fruits and finding obscure, high-scale grocery shops so I can experiment, but it's worth it.

Renge's also been very busy. She has a dance recital coming up in a week, so she's very nervous for that. I promised her that I'd go see it, so I will be missing for a couple of hours next Friday morning. She's been trying so hard and I can't wait to see it. Though, at times, I still feel like she's trying to pay me back by doing everything perfectly, instead of just acting like herself, like a normal child. I don't know what to say to her to make her feel less like her life is a favour she has to pay back.

Sometimes I wonder why we live in a world where some children are forced to grow up so fast and think that everything has a price.

I haven't posted in a while. Life continues, I suppose. And I guess it's easier to comment about other people's lives than talk about my own, especially when it's been so busy.

The Fudomine boys team lost at Nationals quarterfinals to Hyotei. I suppose that was payback, but they played extraordinarily well, all the way up to reserves thanks to the forfeited Singles 2. I'm very impressed and while three of the members will be graduating next year, I think the club will have a fighting chance next year as well, if their tenacity continues.

The deli's doing well. More customers by the day, and I'm now seriously considering hiring someone to help me out. I can't cook and be in the deli to help out customers at the same time. But the trouble is finding someone to work the long busy hours (2:00pm to 9:30pm) and who's very personable. I can pay well...but people dislike working for a long time on end.

...I confess, I find myself with a lot of spare time nowadays too. It's weird. I didn't use to have this much.

Ahh, it is odd. I've been rather busy for the past few days, because there's been a huge increase in customers! I admit, it's quite a surprise, but I'm very glad. If I could just figure out why....

Oh, and in interesting news today, it seems that Fudoumine middle school tennis team are in the Kanto again, for the first time since our time. The whole team had a celebratory dinner at my place yesterday, seeing as they won Prefecturals. It was nice chatting with all of them and they all seemed interested in learning more about how to improve their tennis.

Akira, Shinji, if you're free sometime, maybe we could drop by during their practise and help them figure out what they need to improve? Seems that they only have a teacher patron and not an actual coach. They're better off than we were, but they'll need something if they're to get very far in Kanto.
