009: Updating Business
Aug. 12th, 2013 01:29 pmI haven't posted in a while. Life continues, I suppose. And I guess it's easier to comment about other people's lives than talk about my own, especially when it's been so busy.
The Fudomine boys team lost at Nationals quarterfinals to Hyotei. I suppose that was payback, but they played extraordinarily well, all the way up to reserves thanks to the forfeited Singles 2. I'm very impressed and while three of the members will be graduating next year, I think the club will have a fighting chance next year as well, if their tenacity continues.
The deli's doing well. More customers by the day, and I'm now seriously considering hiring someone to help me out. I can't cook and be in the deli to help out customers at the same time. But the trouble is finding someone to work the long busy hours (2:00pm to 9:30pm) and who's very personable. I can pay well...but people dislike working for a long time on end.
...I confess, I find myself with a lot of spare time nowadays too. It's weird. I didn't use to have this much.
