024: Travelling: Day 2

This is technically the second day of Shinji and I's voyage to India, but since we are still on the boat, I am unsure as to whether it really counts as a start or not. I've been talking to sailors in my spare time and asking them questions about their lives and most of them are not very talkative, but the ones who are, will not shut up once you get them started. It's amazing what people have to say if you ask them. I wonder whether more people would be talkative if more people asked them about themselves.

This is also the view outside of my window


It's a nice start to a voyage, really. Pretty relaxing.

I hope you have a great time, Tachibana-san, if you're already having fun and you haven't even got there yet once you arrive I'm sure it'll be amazing. Lots of pictures, okay? And not of Shinji, I know what he looks like. Unless he's been sat on by an elephant. Then I want pics.

Yes, it's quite humbling, really. You get a different sort of sense of perspective from an airplane.

I shall be sure to send you all of the pictures that I take, Akira. (And what did I say about Tachibana-san? You can drop the san, we've been friends for long enough). And I'm afraid that there will probably be a few of Shinji, with and without the elephants.
